陶瓷朝鮮薊

The glaze on this ceramic artichoke is so smooth it almost looks wet, and the pointed leaves catch light in a way that makes it feel like a real gallery piece. I put it on my entryway console and it's the first thing people touch when they walk in.

Every guest who spots this artichoke asks where it's from. The clean modern lines and smooth surface give it real gallery presence, and it looks fantastic on the small pedestal I bought to match.

Didn't expect the weight of it — feels solid in the hand, not hollow like I feared. It's sitting on my bookshelf next to some old paperbacks and somehow it pulls the whole shelf together. The smooth finish catches the window light nicely in the afternoon.
