The ceramic base has a nice weight to it, not cheap at all. I chose the smaller size for my nightstand and it casts just the right amount of warm light.

I was a bit worried the matte black finish would show dust, but it actually looks sleek and stays clean. The lamp gives off a warm, soft glow that makes my reading nook feel cozy.

The small size fits perfectly on my nightstand, and the warm light it throws is just right for reading before bed. The ceramic base feels substantial without being too heavy.
