The backrest is the selling point for me—it actually supports you during a two-hour dinner chat without any slouching. Assembly took about ten minutes with the included hex key, and the fabric holds up well to my kids jumping on it.

The adjustable height mechanism clicks into place smoothly, so I can finally use it at both our kitchen island and the taller counter. The supportive backrest keeps me comfortable through entire dinners, and the fabric feels sturdy enough for daily use without showing wear.

The upholstery is genuinely soft—my friends kept commenting on it during dinner—and the supportive backrest means I can actually sit through a whole movie at the counter without slouching. The adjustable height is a nice bonus, too, since it fits our different counter heights perfectly.
