The tapered base is much sturdier than I expected, even on my uneven floor. My small lamp and a framed photo both fit perfectly on the 12-inch top without crowding.

The glazed finish makes the surface so easy to wipe clean after a vase spills, and the 12-inch top is just the right size for my coffee mug and a small lamp. It looks heavier than it actually is, which is a nice surprise when moving it around.

I was a little worried an 18-inch table would be too tall, but the tapered base makes it surprisingly stable and the 12-inch top is perfect for a small lamp and a photo frame. It really anchors the corner of my living room.
